Complementing our range of biocides, Aquabon is a natural citrus based product that is suitable for use in wash and flume water. Unaffected by dirt and soiled conditions, Aquabon can help to improve freshness and appearance. Aquabon is suitable for use in organic processing, and provides a truly natural alternative.

Aquabon is a blend of citrus extracts and GRAS listed additives specifically designed for use in the food processing industry.  Aquabon is an extremely effective biocide, with broad spectrum activity against a range of microorganisms.

A unique property of Aquabon is its long residual and antioxidant activity, even in the presence of external organic matter. This makes it particularly suitable for maintaining low bacterial levels in flume and wash waters.

Extensive test work has been carried out on the biocidal properties of Aquabon, and its effectiveness several days  after application. The graph shown here demonstrates Total Bacterial Count results obtained after 36 days.
