The BK Hydrocarbon Range

 

The digestion and removal of waste hydrocarbons is generally regarded as being the most problematic area of biological treatment. The level of contamination may range from an unsightly oil patch on the road or driveway, through to chronic contamination of industrial land that must be cleaned up before redevelopment.

 

Scotmas have developed BK Hydrocarbon products as a complimentary range of interlocking solutions for cleanup and

Hybrite Tar
Hybrite Tar is a safe, highly effective cleaner designed to remove oil stains and heavy grime from a variety of surfaces. Hybrite Tar contains biodegradable surfactants and bio-promoters designed to stimulate the natural microbial population into digesting the waste material

 

BK Crete
Containing specially selected, biodegradable cleaners, microbes and biostimulants, BK Crete is the ideal solution for the complete digestion of ground-in oil stains on porous surfaces such as concrete or stone. Used alone, or after an initial clean down with Hybrite Tar, BK Crete’s natural biological action will provide deep-down cleaning of stained surfaces

 

BK Tubes
Interceptors, drains and lagoons can often become clogged with oil-based waste products that are difficult and expensive to remove. BK Tubes are absorbent pads impregnated with natural microbes that will digest waste naturally and in-situ

 

BK Microbes
Designed for use alongside Hybrite Tar, or as a standalone solution for land-remediation programs, BK Microbes allow a contaminated area to be “seeded” with a population of highly specific bacteria, selected to digest long-chain hydrocarbons, petroleum or diesel based contamination.

 

BK Ground
Designed for land-remediation applications, BK Ground can be used in-situ or as part of a controlled “biofarm” application to digest oils and industrial pollutants into harmless by-products without the need to transport the waste material off-site.
