Scotmas Bravo ClO2 Generator
The new Scotmas Bravo chlorine dioxide dosing system represents a dramatic leap forward for ClO₂generation and dosing in small to medium scale industrial, commercial and food processing applications. Chlorine Dioxide has long been acknowledged as an effective alternative to toxic and environmentally damaging biocides, however a number of practical challenges previously restricted its use to just the largest applications.
Designed for use with Scotmas’ range of low-alkalinity ClO₂ precursors, the Scotmas Bravo now allows boreholes, food process and building service water to be treated with all the power of Chlorine Dioxide, without the health & safety restrictions placed by traditional large-scale generation equipment.
All Chlorine Dioxide is produced within a controlled, water jacketed environment from low hazard precursors, ensuring that the Bravo can be installed in unattended plant rooms and other sites where traditional Chlorine Dioxide generators cannot.
The Bravo system is particularly suitable for primary water treatment in small private supplies such as borehole water treatment, where the ClO₂ can be applied pre-filtration for iron and THM control, or post-filtration to provide residual downstream protection.
Within the building services environment, the Bravo system is often applied as part of a comprehensive Legionella control package, to help remove biofilm and scale within the building, and allow hot water temperatures to be reduced without compromising on Legionella protection.
