Abscent Sachets
Effective treatment against odours
Description
Abscent Sachets produce chlorine dioxide vapour when exposed to moisture in the air. Chlorine dioxide is a powerful biocide and odour control agent that will combat odours caused by chemical substances, mould, mildew, fungi and bacteria. Chlorine dioxide will also react with many of the odour causing chemicals present after a fire (some of which are dangerous in their own right).
ClO2 can produce respiratory and eye irritation at high concentrations. Abscent Sachets, however, are designed to generate a very low level of ClO2 over time to prevent any irritation. When applying Abscent Sachets, it is vital that the sachet is of the correct size and placed in the correct position within the room.
Applications
Abscent Sachets should be used as part of a package of products to deal with odour and biological control after fire and floods.
The easy and ready to use sachets can be left in situ for long term odour control. They are designed to deal with residual odours and are particularly useful in difficult to access areas such as lofts and ventilation systems. The sachet then breaks down odours over time, removing the need for masking agents and perfumes, and greatly reduces the necessity for wet or dry fogging.
Use of Abscent Sachets vastly reduces the number of recalls made to retreat areas. The sachet can be easily disposed of in normal household waste after use.
