The BK range is designed to assist in the often-difficult task of organic waste disposal. “Organic waste” can mean anything from oil and hydrocarbon spills, grease and fats in drainage systems, cleanup of industrial process effluent, septic tanks and agricultural slurry, through to waste digestion in lagoons and fish farms. Whatever the application, you can be sure that Scotmas have the products and technology to get things right first time.

BK Products are formulated from blends of cultured, naturally occurring microbes & enzymes. The products are then made more powerful by the introduction of specific, biodegradable enhancers that speed up the waste digestion process.

AQUACULTURE
BK Products are used in fish farming and shellfish growing enterprises to control a number of environmental factors, and to reduce algae, ammonia and Hydrogen Sulphide levels. Our aquaculture range of products includes those suitable for saltwater operations, and can be used in conjunction with some biocides also available from Scotmas. BK Products will break down faecal matter, dead organisms and excess food in order to promote a healthy environment.
HYDROCARBON DIGESTION & LAND REMEDIATION
This most difficult area of biological treatment presents ideal opportunities for use of BK Products. A specific range is available for the removal of hydrocarbon deposits in soil or on tarred or porous surfaces, as well as in water or effluent
INDUSTRIAL EFFLUENT
Effluent Plants associated with Industry, Bakeries, Vegetable Washing, Poultry Processing, Abattoirs, Tanneries and many other plants that require to control odours or reduce high B.O.D. levels present ideal opportunities for BK Products.  Excellent Odour Control and Compliance with Discharge Conditions can be achieved. By using specific blends of BK products, targeted for H2S, Phenol and Ammonia and hydrocarbon digestion, even the most difficult problems can be solved.
By combining the use of BK Products with biocides and other water treatment products from Scotmas, complete water recycling systems can be designed – ideal for areas with water shortages or sensitive environmental conditions.
GREASE TRAPS & SEPTIC TANKS
Grease Trap Interceptors and Septic Tanks are major usage areas for BK Products. Biokleer will digest grease, organic matter and fats in order to keep tanks and pipes running free. Supplied in conjunction with a fully automatic dosing system, Biokleer represents a hassle free and efficient method of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene levels

SEWAGE TREATMENT
