Scotmas Group are seeking a Service Manager.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Manager to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and service to our clients and engineers in the field. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the optimal performance of our people, equipment and systems,

Delivering solutions that meet our customers’ needs. This position requires a proactive approach, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day activity of the field servicing area, ensuring that a safe and healthy working environment is maintained at all times and contract KPIs are met.
  • Day to day account management of Scotmas Customers ensuring high standards of customer service is given.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the  service customer accounts ensuring high standards of customer service and communications are maintained at all times.
  • Looking at cost savings and efficiency improvements in the field, and ensuring costings are up to date a commercially correct.
  • Work with existing customers to help them develop their needs and bring in new business from them.
  • Working together with relevant departments to develop accurate and consistent bids and quotes.
  • Overseeing and developing cross-functional relationships to gain best commercial outcomes.
  • Managing the Field service and installation engineers’ activities.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer / Manager or similar role is preferred.
  • Strong technical background with knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems in the water treatment sector is desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • A valid driving licence is essential for travel to client sites.
  • Self-motivated  with strong ethical and working principles
