New Business Salesperson – South UK

Scotmas is seeking an experienced, commercially focused New Business Salesperson to lead business development activity across the South of England and Wales.
This is an excellent opportunity for a high-performing sales professional to join a specialist, innovation-led business and play a central role in expanding our market presence across key regulated sectors.
The role is home-based and is ideally suited to a candidate located within the Midlands / M6-M1 corridor, allowing efficient access to the core territory. There may also be occasions where support is required on opportunities in the North of England and Scotland, working alongside another New Business Sales colleague covering the northern region.

This role will focus on developing new business within Healthcare, Building Services, Leisure, and Food & Beverage markets, where Scotmas continues to strengthen its position as the No1. trusted technical partner. Scotmas is built on the values of innovation, passion and openness, which remain central to the way we work with customers and colleagues alike.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing leads from initial enquiry through to close, preparing proposals and sales presentations, and working closely with internal stakeholders to support delivery against sales targets and wider business objectives.
There will also actively find and develop new partners in the Water Hygiene and Treatment markets. The role is supported by an established team of Account Managers, Technical Sales Support and Marketing, providing a strong platform for success.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- A background in water treatment or water hygiene
- A minimum of 5 years’ successful sales experience in a comparable industry
- A proven record of delivering £400k+ per annum in new business sales
- Strong capability in developing opportunities through the full sales cycle
- The confidence to engage effectively with both commercial and technical stakeholders
- A professional, self-motivated and proactive approach to business development
