Business Development Manager

  • £30,000 – £35,000 plus attractive commission plan.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for leading the sales effort for Scotmas Biosecurity and UK Water Treatment. Working closely with the Commercial Director, Account Manager and supported by Sales Administration and Marketing teams, they will have responsibility for new and repeat sales for these customers.

The role will include generation of new business using existing and potential customer networks.

Reporting to the Commercial Director with sales performance against targets and company objectives, internal communication will be key to ensure the smooth running of accounts and advance planning for new sales on an active manufacturing site.

What about you?

You should be educated to degree level in any discipline with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Sales or Account Management role and a mix of broad marketing skills, and have evidence of formal sales training.

A strong interest or experience in science-based innovation to drive world beating products is desirable.

An entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for innovation, and the desire to take responsibility in a small team is essential.
