Scotmas Group are seeking a Finance Assistant.

We have a new opportunity for a Finance Assistant in our busy finance team to take responsibility for managing our purchase ledgers and providing support in maintaining the group’s financial records.

Reporting to the Office Accountant and an integral part of the Finance team, the ideal candidate has experience of working across group businesses and has a solid working knowledge of different accounting systems, as well as a keen eye for accuracy. 

What about you?

  • You will have good evidence of a minimum of 2 years in a finance/accounts-based role.
  • You will be self-disciplined with strong communication and organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
  • Excellent levels of numeracy and literacy are required and you must be a team player who works well meeting daily and month-end demands.
  • An accounting qualification will be ideal, but applications from strong QBE candidates will also be welcome;
  • A strong interest or experience in science-based innovation to drive world beating products is desirable.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for innovation and the desire to take responsibility in a small team is essential.
