The Scotmas Bravo WA Chlorine Dioxide (ClO₂) generator is designed as a core disinfection system, with the flexibility to be configured for individual applications.

Developed around our unique in-line reactor technology, which prevents any risk of leakage of concentrated Chlorine Dioxide solution, all reactions take place at point of injection into the main water stream as an aqueous solution.

Gas is not formed as part of the process and Chlorine Dioxide production is in conformance with EN 12671:2009. The Bravo WA is controlled by an Industrial Panel PC and offers the ability to dose Chlorine Dioxide directly in proportion to the signals from an industry standard pulsed water meter.

Different alarm inputs are provided, allowing for dosing to be started or stopped in response to signals from customer processes, timers or stand-alone batch controllers. The Bravo WA interfaces directly with Scotmas Sentinel Guard and Sentinel Link remote analysers, which directly monitor residual ClO₂ and chlorite downstream within the water system.

Bravo WA Chlorine Dioxide Reactor - Scotmas

The Bravo WA system relies on a unique in-line reaction chamber that was originally designed by the company in 1999. This innovative approach to water disinfection ensures that Chlorine Dioxide is generated efficiently and securely within the water pipework itself, meaning there is no need for storing or pumping potentially hazardous “free” Chlorine Dioxide solutions.

The in-line reaction chamber is designed to activate the Chlorine Dioxide precursor chemicals, which are fed into the water flow in controlled doses. The reaction chamber then generates Chlorine Dioxide gas, which is dissolved into the water and piped to the point of use. This eliminates the need for additional storage, handling, or transportation of chlorine dioxide products.

By generating Chlorine Dioxide in the water flow, the Bravo WA system ensures a consistent and safe disinfection process, without the need for manual dosing or monitoring. This makes the system highly efficient and reliable, requiring minimal operator input once installed.

Our system offers installation flexibility directly to your water line or tank. The water-jacketed reactor maximises generator safety by providing an added layer of protection. In addition, we offer complete remote monitoring through Insite, making it easy to monitor your system from anywhere at any time. The system can also wholly integrate with BMS/SCADA systems via Modbus IP link.

Moreover, the system can easily integrate with multiple remote sensors on the site up to 1km via Lora Radio Link. With full onboard data logging and alert reporting, you can easily keep track of your system’s performance and receive alerts when necessary. The integrated chemicals management and alerting feature ensures that you are always aware of the status of your system’s chemicals.
